Tuesday/Wednesday: Depending on the day, students had Signs of Suicide (with Mrs. Hayes - Counselor). The other day, students completed a lab on The Air We Breathe.

Thursday: Today students took notes on the composition of the atmosphere. They were to then process the notes by creating a movie poster highlighting the main ideas of the notes. Due to the crazy schedules the past couple days, tomorrow I will be checking p31 (Atmosphere Vocabulary) and p32 (composition notes & poster) in class. We will also finish up the lab and turn it in for a grade.

Friday: Today students finished the lab from earlier in the week by answering 10 multiple choice questions to confirm understanding of material. While students did this, I was able to check the 15 vocab words on page 31. After a 15 minute time period to finish the lab, students presented their movie posters to their group and selected the one that portrayed the most information, etc. and those 6 then presented to the class (and received a positive ticket!). We then went over their notes on the composition of the atmosphere to make sure all students had the important information for their tests next week. Depending on the time, we moved into greenhouse gases and discussed the difference between uv radiation and infrared radiation.
