Tuesday: Today students completed the pre-test and it was checked in class. We then took notes on Mendel and sexual/asexual reproduction. Students are to process the notes by creating a book cover using the important information from the notes.

Wednesday: Today students read an article on sexual/asexual reproduction and answered the questions that followed. While reading, students were to annotate (5 annotations, one 6 word summary). After completing this handout, students were to cut out the organisms and arrange them into three categories based on their type of reproduction.

Thursday: We checked pages 88 & 89. Students then worked on a lab inventoring their traits. Part of the lab was done as a class and part was done on their own.

Friday: Today students took a quiz on Mendel and Sexual/Asexual reproduction. Students were then to finish up the graph/questions from the lab yesterday. We then watched Bill Nye on Genes.
